Yard Sale Baby!

Movie On The Lawn Numero Dos.

A beautiful evening for our most recent fundraiser - a movie on the lawn.  E.T. to be exact.

All of our guests got a turn giving E.T. a "ride"!

I think that everyone had a great time.  The weather cooled down significantly as the night went on, but I don't think any of us Phoenicians were complaining after such a long HOT summer!

Our tanks get AROUND!

Here are 3 of our tanks in Nairobi, Kenya!

Heather's sister in law and her family live in Bomet, Kenya where her husband is an orthopedic surgeon.

They were here in Phoenix for a year but moved back to Africa in August.

They took our tanks with them!!

Our first 10-miler!

Here we are - post 10 miles - this morning at 8:45am.  

Next weekend we do 12 on Saturday and then 10 on Sunday.

Movie On The Lawn!!! Part Two...

Friday... October 7th

Come on over to the Kinkel's backyard and watch this classic on a beautiful "fall" evening!

Tickets are $15 per family or $5 per person.  

Open at 5:30, with the movie starting around 6:30.

We're selling hot dogs, popcorn, candy, beer, water, soda... Come hungry and have your dinner here!

Wildflower Fundraiser

We had great success last night at our Wildflower Fundraiser!

They donated 15% of each transaction to our BOOPs account...

We had a raffle and worked for tips as well!

Dinner Thursday night!

This Thursday night from 6 to 8pm, Wildflower on 44th Street & Indian School is donating 15% of each participating transaction to our B.O.O.Ps account!

Come on down and join us - we'll be there in pink aprons, cleaning tables and greeting all of you - our faithful supporters!  We will also hold a raffle just like the last time so bring some cash!

Upcoming Events!

Hello there friends-who-are-also-supporters!  We have been busy these summer months... walking, fundraising, and getting super excited for November!

We wanted to let you know about a few events we've got coming up:

1.  August 15th - CostumeSupercenter.com will be doing an on-line fundraiser for us.  They will give us 15% of every order placed under our name!  Details to come - so don't go buyin' your costumes just yet!  It's still August, right?!?

2.  September 1st - Wildflower Neighborhood Nights.  Did you come to the Rubio's event?  Same story, second verse!

3.  October 1st - Movie on the Lawn #2!  Did you come to the last one?  I think everyone who came had a GREAT time.  It will be sort of a fall-kickoff event kind of like the last one was a summer-kickoff event...

4.  November 5th - Rummage Sale!  We had a rummage sale last spring and it was a VERY helpful event for our little fund!  So save all of your post-summer-clean-out-crap and bring it to us!

Do you LOVE our signature pink tie-dye tanks?!?  Well, we do too and we've heard from a few of you that you'd like one as well!  

Now is your chance!  Place your order with us between now and August 6th and we'll get you one in your specified size for only $20.  

If your little lady would like one as well we'd be happy to do a mini-me version for $10.
